Sometimes the challenges we face each and every day seem like climbing a mountain. Even with a strong and reliable life line, the responsibility to find handholds and footholds and climb to the top is ours. I’ve learned that most of what we worry about does not happen. Just like a steep, granite cliff, it can be a barrier to a better life. That’s because worry is wasted energy that prevent us from focusing our creativity and positive efforts on what’s right in front of us.
Lifelines can help us overcome worry. Knowing there is support in case we fall can help us move beyond what might happen to focus on what is happening. Who is your lifeline? Who do you call for help? Comment here.
