Since the oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico has taken place, a leader with another oil company made a statement that the industry is “not well-equipped” to handle spills in deep water. After some research, a lawmaker discovered that only .008 percent of the company profits are going towards improvements for the future. That is alarming.
