Partly Following Orders

Has your boss or dispatcher ever given you instructions that you didn’t like? Suppose you were asked to pick up a load in California to be delivered to New York. But you don’t like going to New York, so you dropped the load off at their plant in Toledo. Then when you called in, you told the dispatcher that the load was at another plant within the company which does daily deliveries to New York so you saved him a bunch of miles. How much longer would you be driving for your company? Not much longer, right?

Being diligent to follow orders really does make a difference. Let’s talk about it. Comment here.
