Time to Rebuild

In a recent conversation with a driver, he was pondering if it would be better to buy a newer truck or overhaul the one he owned. It was tempting to go out looking for something newer and better. However, since he had certain attachments to his truck, he decided to rebuild the engine and get a few more years out of it. The same thing could be said about marriage. At times, when you and your spouse aren’t getting along or have become more like roommates, it may be tempting to think about having something newer or better. During these times, remember your initial commitment when you first became husband and wife. Focus on those things that first attracted you to your spouse. Try planning a date night and enjoy just being together. You both will benefit and can continue to enjoy many more good years together. Comment here.
